Start spring with a special Tanzklub experience led by choreographer and dance facilitator Patscharaporn
Distakul. For women and non-binary people with and without dance experience. (Re)discover your dance skills in weekly training sessions in the safer space of the Tanzklub under the expert guidance of Patscha starting on April 11. We will be working with our personal memories and stories. What do you remember? How does it make you feel? In the Tanzklub, you will develop techniques to physically visualize these past memories and transform them into movement. Another focus of the dance club is on visiting dance pieces together at Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm and exchanging ideas about them. Visits to "I am 60" by Wen Hui and "Shout Aloud (working title)" by Yasmeen Godder are planned, which the Mousonturm is showing as a world premiere together with the Schauspiel. Patscha has already worked with both choreographers, most recently with Wen Hui at the Tanzfestival Rhein-Main '23.Patscharaporn Distakul, kurz Patscha, ist Absolventin der Rotterdam Dance Academy und bekannt für ihre Arbeit mit renommierten Tanzkompanien wie dem Ballet Preljocaj und der Compagnia Virgilio Sieni, und Choreograf*innen wie Wen Hui, Yasmeen Godder und Fabrice Mazliah.
Schedule: Every Friday at 6 pm, as well as on selected dates. Kick-off weekend on April 11 and 12.
Costs: 125€ (reduction to 70€ for pupils, students, trainees, people with disabilities, Frankfurt Pass holders) plus ticket costs.
